Released on X, the 3.0 update completely changed the dominion, added essences for easier UT farming, ultra-rare Relic tiered items, and more!
Cross-play: Playable on both PC and Mobile, using the same account! Play with your friends on mobile, or switch to PC seemlessly.
Crafting: Trade Lee, the Crafter in the Mountains camp scraps or relic pieces (found from dungeon bosses) for a weapon or armor crate, and a special Relic tiered item. Visit the Crafting page for more information about all the things you can craft from various NPCs.
The Clock: The clock is the new way that the Dominion progresses from open to close. Instead of having arenas placed randomly across the map and random bosses set to them, there are 4 major arenas and 4 minor arenas. The major bosses will always be in the same order, the minor bosses will be randomized from a pool. You’ll be able to tell how close a Dominion is to closing based off of how close the clock is to striking 12.
Dominion Camps: There are 3 separate camps, with the level 20 camp being in the northern section of the mountains; so there’s no need to go through the annoying run all the way there whenever a new Dominion opens. Higher level villages also give you access to different NPCs.
NPCs: There is a lot more AI life in the game now. The tavern is filled with colorful personalities that give tidbits of advice to new players or bits of lore. Tradeable NPCs can be given things to craft, unstack, or exchange.
Supporter Pack: 2 character slots, 2 vaults, and an animated-on-idle pet.
The Beyond: No more character select or graveyard screens. Instead, you’ll load into a map called The Beyond in which you can see both all of your alive characters and your graveyard. Selecting/Reviving characters will be handled from this area.
Leaderboards: The Leaderboards can be found below the tavern and are three different sets of graves (weekly, monthly, all-time) grandly displayed at all times.
New Dungeons: There is three new dungeons in this update, one at each tier of difficulty. The beginner level dungeon, Mushroom Forest. The intermediate level dungeon, Infested Cellar. And the endgame level dungeon, Ancient Ruins.
Balance Changes: Pets have all seen their stats categorized based on where they come from. Bought pets have set options on what they can be, Single-use earned pets also have defined splits, and so do limited event ones. All pets in the future will follow these designated splits as to not see a gradual power-creep over time.
Renovated Tavern: Along with the new Leaderboard, some other bits of the Tavern have been redesigned. A new section north of spawn has been opened for Astake’s Essence hut, and the shops were redesigned to be far closer to the south exit.
Music: There are now a few songs in the growing Darza’s Dominion OST.
More Options: You’ll now have a few more options to play with in order to better personalize your experience. World scaling will allow you to play with the camera distance you prefer. You’ll be able to make other players heavily translucent, this including their projectiles and pets so you can better tell what things you’re supposed to avoid without the world feeling so lonely.
Misc: Long requested Backpacks have been added. Ability redesigns for the Mage and Archer, lots of replaced artwork, touched up mob behaviors, redesigned dungeon rooms, new main menu backdrop, and redesigned UI.
