"(While we're working on to finish the final stretch of the second client re-write, we thought it'd be a good
opportunity to start a summer-long event to give everyone something to hunt for while we're unable to produce more
standard content. We'll be back very soon to talk about the Open/Closed Betas for the update, but for now...)
The Tavern is beginning to welcome new occupants as the weather gets warmer. One of which, an eccentric bard with lute
in hand, has garnered quite the audience for his performances in the previously empty room above the Guild Area. The
other Tavern-folk have given him the fitting name of The Storyteller, as he readily avoids each time a proper title is
asked for.
Only getting a feel for the show he plans on performing, The Storyteller is now recruiting adventurers to help him
gather what he calls ‘necessary materials’ for his first big performance. However he’s not asking for wood, string, or
stage lights. He’s looking for the essence of each of the Dungeons' most powerful beings.
Using an unknown ability, The Storyteller will be enchanting a certain dungeon each week; offering exclusive rewards
in exchange for aiding him. Enchanted dungeons will offer slightly increased experience and drop rates, as well as a
chance to drop Mystery Boxes. Mystery Boxes will contain things like dungeon-specific dyes that will never be seen
elsewhere, an additional roll for the dungeon’s UT drop, and a few other miscellaneous items as well! Over the course
of the summer, each mid-end game dungeon will have its turn being enchanted; but most won’t have it happen a second
time.
The Storyteller will appear in the Tavern on 7/10, rewards await!
"Storyteller fella asked for you personally the other day, was singing some ballad of fictional creatures in a world
separate from ours; referenced the Asuras for something in the same lyric too. Barely could hear him over the racket
of the crowd, but I suppose it’s better heard foggily than not at all. Give the guy an ear, seems like he wanted
somethin’ from you." - Tavern Keeper"
